Looking for a fun, rewarding way to serve the Greensboro community and support early childhood development? Try volunteering at the Miriam P. Brenner Children’s Museum as an individual or with a group! The Museum is an exciting and colorful place that inspires creativity, fosters curiosity, and engages the minds of children.

Volunteer opportunities include working on the floor with Museum guests, supporting Museum programming, as well as Edible Schoolyard garden upkeep and maintenance.

The Edible Schoolyard is a hands-on, half-acre organic teaching garden and kitchen classroom.

Volunteer in the Museum

We will be accepting new volunteers beginning November 12.

Are you a local educational or cultural group looking to share your knowledge and talents with Museum guests? Then, think about hosting an engaging, family-friendly activity or performance at the Museum!

MBCM offers daily programming based on a central monthly theme. Volunteer programming must align with MBCM’s mission to be accepted. The Museum has the right to approve or deny any application, or suggest a more suitable month for sharing a program.

We ask that there is 1-6 people hosting a program.
